Pass Out (In A Cold Dark Crowd)

What’s the reason of the war?

What’s the reason we’re fighting for?

The destruction spreads, the prices soar

And peace won’t reach us here no more

The dullness and a race of rats

Venal leaders and gentle pets

The good old friendship between dogs and cats

The sickness and placebo meds

The blind men are running through the street

No empathy or compassion when others weep

True human feelings are much too deep

For rational men hunting for something cheap

Another teardrop is rolling down

Sparkles bright and hit the ground

A stranger in a cold dark crowd

No one perceived that lonesome sound

You get tired of all the thoughts that flip through your mind

You left the screaming mass behind

You’re searching for a place to hide,

Somewhere in between the light and the night

You’ll find it! – Your mind is shouting loud

But for now, my dear – breathe in, breathe out

Love will embrace you like a warm fluffy cloud

But for now, please just – breathe in, breathe out
